Housing & Transportation Plans
Exploring options and timing that work best for your unique situation.
Every life has a series of DecisionDays™— those days when pivotal decisions are made that affect everything else going forward. We’re here to help you refine your decisions: the what, when, where, and how of a smooth transition through the aging process.
These decisions can be tricky, time-consuming, and overwhelming, but we’ve helped many people through this before. Having A Game Plan for Aging™ is essential for a seamless transition through life’s journey.
Here are just some of the items that may be in your Game Plan:
We can see you through any and all of these processes until your Game Plan is securely in place.
“My mom had long-term care insurance, and needed to use it from age 79-85. My stepmother the same. My father and mother-in-law needed it, but didn’t have it, and spent hundreds of thousands on care at the end of their lives.
For these reasons, my husband and I decided to purchase long-term care insurance. Gretchen Messenger helped us through the process, doing research for us, and aiming us toward policies that are high quality, and at the same time, affordable. In the 10 years since, we have both retired and retained a financial advisor. He reviewed our policy, and stated it was an excellent one worth keeping. Many others are not, according to him, who we consider a neutral party.
Oftentimes during the past years, we’ve had questions about the policy, the payments, and the paperwork. Gretchen has always been there for us, year after year, helping us through the process. We’re glad we made the purchase when we did…and from whom we did”
We offer one-to-one consultation to help you identify specific tasks on your Game Plan to-do list.
Who’s Watching Mom? Inc. prides itself on providing individualized planning based on YOUR needs, wishes and desires. We listen and observe carefully to understand your situation in full so that we can provide the best possible solutions.
We start with a free consultation during which we will assess your situation and determine if there is a fit between us; what you need and what we can provide for you. If we agree to work together at the first meeting and agree to a fee arrangement, we also discuss the scope of the project, “homework”, and future schedule of tasks to complete. A Game Plan for Aging™ involves numerous DecisionDays™ and may take several meetings to complete.
Our services are charged on an hourly basis. Creating a Game Plan for Aging™ can take time and energy. We feel strongly that the money spent up front will save you thousands of dollars on the “other end”.
